Ambition:
As with anything in life it is important to set goals and focus on your dreams. You will never achieve more in life than what you strive for. Setting goals will empower you to find ways to achieve them.
Persistence:
Once your goals are set, you have to be persistent in reaching those goals. Every “body” is different and with the different variables such as; diet, lifestyle, work schedule, current health, etc. everyone’s individual results will be different and on different timeframes. It is important to remember to remain persistent and keep working toward your goals.
Patience:
Since no “body” is the same, and everyone’s variables are different you have to be patient. For some, results come quickly and goals are achieved seemingly instantly, but for others, the road to fitness is full of twists and turns and even backtracking. It is important to stay patient and not give up on your goal.
No Comparing:
It is unfair to compare any aspect of your life with someone else. Everyone’s variables are different therefore everyone’s results will come at different speeds and intensities. Comparing your results to someone else’s will cause more problems than good. If you are achieving your goals faster than someone else, you may become complacent. If slower than someone else, you may become discouraged. By ignoring the results of others, it will help you stay focused on your own results.
Happiness:
There is a lot to say about staying positive. It is proven that stress will cause you to retain body fat. Inversely, it is proven that working out will create endorphins that cause you to be happy. Both of these are self-fulfilling prophecies. Getting into the journey for better health will help reduce stress and aid in a happier life. By simply smiling, staying positive you are well on your way to a healthier and happier life.
